A Closer Look at The Fauna Collection – Tiger (31217)
Launching June 1 2025, this 744-piece set invites you to assemble a frameless, three-dimensional homage to wildlife. A regal tiger emerges from a backdrop of lush, brick-built florals and foliage—each bloom fully repositionable so you can tailor the composition to your space. Hang the completed mural on your wall or display it on its integrated stand as a freestanding décor piece. For even more botanical flair, mix in elements from the LEGO Botanicals collection (sold separately) to create a bespoke floral arrangement around your tiger centerpiece.
Designed specifically for adult builders, this set delivers a rewarding and creative challenge. Measuring roughly 20 cm high, 31 cm wide, and 6 cm deep, it strikes the perfect balance between desktop ornament and gallery-worthy art. Whether you’re hunting for a memorable housewarming gift or treating yourself to a statement piece, the Fauna Collection – Tiger offers both aesthetic appeal and the kind of limited availability that savvy investors watch closely.
Investment Insight: Artful Builds That Grow in Value
LEGO Art’s collaborations with museums, artists, and cultural icons have proven to be more than just decorative—they’re investment powerhouses. Sets like Marilyn Monroe and The Beatles mosaics soared in value after retirement, thanks to their crossover appeal among collectors and art enthusiasts. The Fauna Collection expands this dynamic by tapping into the ever-popular wildlife theme and the bespoke customization trend. Limited production runs and high display potential mean early adopters could see solid aftermarket demand when this set eventually retires.
