We have witnessed an impressive line-up of Ultimate Collector Series LEGO sets in the past, especially UCS LEGO Star Wars sets that have truly pushed the boundaries in terms of size. It all began with the two versions of the UCS Millennium Falcon, followed by mega-sized renditions of the Star Destroyer and AT-AT. Today, LEGO has officially unveiled its next enormous UCS set: 75367 LEGO UCS Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser.
The Republic Attack Cruiser made its debut in the renowned opening scene of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith during the Battle of Coruscant. This distinct vessel continued to appear in various tales across different mediums, including the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series. As a precursor to the Star Destroyer, it symbolized the Republic's evolution into the Galactic Empire.
Boasting an impressive 5,374 pieces, this colossal Ultimate Collector Series LEGO spaceship from the prequel series is filled with great details and exhibits an impressive visual impact due to its vibrant dark red colour scheme, which adds a touch of excitement compared to the typical grey tones found in other LEGO Star Wars UCS sets. If you are planning to build the set you will need plenty of room, as it stands at a towering height of 32 cm, with a width of 54 cm and a length of 109 cm. Included in the set is a special plaque commemorating the 20th anniversary of the first Clone Wars TV show, as well as minifigure versions of Captain Rex and Admiral Yuralen.
The 75367 UCS Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser will be available for purchase from LEGO stores and their website on October 4th (October 1st for Insiders), with a retail price of US $649.99 | CAN $849.99 | UK £559.99.
We are sure many Clone Wars enthusiasts will be delighted with the news of this release, as long as they can afford the steep price attached to it!
