LEGO Star Wars 2026 Rumours: The Darksaber GWP and a Growing Set Line-Up

A new wave of LEGO Star Wars 2026 rumours is beginning to take shape, headlined by reports of a potential brick-built Darksaber gift-with-purchase and an expanding list of sets spanning multiple release windows throughout the year. While none of this has been officially confirmed by the LEGO Group, the scale and consistency of the information suggest another busy year ahead for Star Wars collectors.

The Darksaber: A Legendary Weapon in LEGO Form?

The Darksaber is one of the most significant artefacts in Star Wars lore. Forged by Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian Jedi, it has long symbolised leadership and legitimacy among Mandalorians. Over the centuries, it passed through the hands of Pre Vizsla, Sabine Wren, Bo-Katan Kryze, and eventually Din Djarin, before being destroyed during Din’s battle with Moff Gideon.

According to current rumours, LEGO may be planning a brick-built Darksaber as a potential gift-with-purchase in 2026. If accurate, this would place it alongside previous Star Wars GWPs that have become highly desirable on the secondary market due to limited availability and strong thematic appeal.

As always, these reports should be treated with caution until LEGO provides official confirmation.

Confirmed and Rumoured LEGO Star Wars Sets for 2026

The current rumour list points to a packed 2026 release schedule, with sets arriving across January, March, May, June, and July. Highlights include mid-scale display models, Mandalorian-focused releases, collectible busts, and multiple Original Trilogy vehicles.

January 2026 releases are expected to include several accessible builds and display-focused models, such as the LEGO® AT-AT (75440), the Venator-Class Attack Cruiser (75441), the BB-8 Astromech Droid (75452), and a range of Mandalorian and Clone Wars sets including Grogu’s Homestead, Cobb Vanth’s Speeder, and the Siege of Mandalore Battle Pack.

March 2026 looks to be vehicle-heavy, with rumours pointing to Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing, a new Darth Vader’s TIE Advanced, and several mid-sized playsets aimed at younger builders.

May 2026 is shaping up to be a collector-focused window, potentially introducing Yoda and Darth Vader busts, additional Mandalorian & Grogu builds, and the rumoured Darksaber GWP tied to a promotional event.

Summer 2026 may then expand the Mandalorian lineup further, with multiple sets aimed at different age brackets and price points.

What This Could Mean for Collectors and Investors

LEGO Star Wars remains one of LEGO’s strongest long-term investment themes, driven by multigenerational appeal, limited-run collectibles, and iconic characters. If the Darksaber does arrive as a GWP, its symbolic importance and likely limited availability could make it particularly attractive on the secondary market.

Among the wider 2026 rumour list, display models, busts, and iconic vehicles historically outperform generic playsets once retired. As always, patience and selectivity remain key.

Final Thoughts

If even part of this rumoured LEGO Star Wars 2026 line-up proves accurate, fans can expect a year that balances display-driven collector models with accessible playsets and Mandalorian-era storytelling. The potential inclusion of a Darksaber GWP only adds to the intrigue.

We’ll continue to update this story as official announcements arrive — and as always, treat rumours with caution until LEGO confirms the details.
