LEGO Shrek Set Details and Fan Appeal

This LEGO® Icons release leans heavily into display and nostalgia, offering a character-driven model that captures the humour and charm of the original film.

Fans can expect:

• Clever hidden details and Easter eggs inspired by classic moments
• Posable features to recreate iconic scenes
• A premium finish, with printed elements likely replacing stickers
• A build tailored specifically for adult fans and collectors

The choice to focus on the original film adds to the appeal, tapping into the moments that made Shrek such a cultural phenomenon. Combined with LEGO’s growing expertise in display sets, this feels like a natural fit for the LEGO Icons range.

LEGO Icons and Film-Based Display Sets – A Winning Formula

LEGO has had huge success with film-inspired display sets in recent years, particularly those that focus on iconic characters or scenes rather than full playsets. These types of releases tend to perform well not only as display pieces but also from an investment perspective, thanks to their crossover appeal.

• A Shrek-themed set ticks all the right boxes:
• Strong nostalgic value
• Broad fanbase across multiple generations
• Unique subject matter not previously explored in LEGO form

For collectors, this is exactly the kind of set that stands out — something different, instantly recognisable, and full of personality.

And Finally…

This LEGO Shrek set already looks like a standout addition to the LEGO Icons lineup, combining humour, nostalgia, and strong display appeal in one package. Fans of the films will no doubt be excited to see these iconic characters brought to life in brick form — and this could just be the beginning for the theme.

We’ll continue to bring you any further updates and additional details as they’re officially confirmed.
