Billund, Denmark has just become even more of a dream destination for LEGO fans, as LEGO House officially opens the world’s first LEGO Masters Academy.
On September 17, 2025, LEGO House — known globally as the Home of the Brick™ — unveiled its most ambitious experience yet: the LEGO Masters Academy. Inspired by the hit LEGO Masters TV series, this hands-on building adventure gives visitors of all ages the chance to build like true LEGO pros.
A One-of-a-Kind Creative Space
The LEGO® Masters Academy is the only experience of its kind in the world, offering a dynamic, studio-style environment that feels straight out of the LEGO Masters set. With dramatic lighting, video screens, and individual building stations, the atmosphere is designed to spark creativity and confidence.
Visitors will learn advanced building techniques — from the famous “SNOT” (Studs Not On Top) method to greebling and other design tricks used by LEGO designers and LEGO Masters champions. Each participant leaves not just with their own custom creation, but with new skills and fresh inspiration for their building journey.
Kathrine Kirk Muff, Managing Director of LEGO House, explained:
“Within the LEGO Masters Academy, we continue that mission — inspiring the master builders of tomorrow by sparking imagination and equipping them with new building skills they can take home. Our hope is that every visitor leaves inspired, confident, and ready to build in new ways they never imagined before.”
Sessions for Every Builder
At launch, the Academy offers two levels of immersive sessions:
- Level 2: “Build Me Up” — Perfect for families with children aged 5+, this collaborative session focuses on design thinking, playful storytelling, and working together. (199 DKK per guest, includes LEGO bricks valued at 149 DKK)
- Level 3: “aROUND the bricks we go” — A more advanced challenge recommended for ages 10+. Builders tackle structural techniques, detailing, and creativity at a higher level. (249 DKK per guest, includes LEGO bricks valued at 199 DKK)
Levels 1 and 4 are planned to launch in 2026, expanding the Academy’s creative journey even further.
More LEGO Masters Magic This Autumn
The LEGO Masters Academy isn’t the only reason to visit Billund this season. LEGO House is celebrating the spirit of creativity with a line-up of special events:
- World Wonderliner Exhibit — See one of the longest builds in LEGO Masters U.S. history, designed by 2023 champions Christopher and Robert. On display until 26 October 2025.
- Creative Lab Trophies Challenge — Build your own LEGO trophy to celebrate someone you admire. Running until 3 November 2025.
- LEGO Masters Make & Take — On 17, 19, and 20 September, visitors can join a special in-store event at the LEGO House store to build their own LEGO Masters logo to take home.
The Ultimate LEGO Destination
With more than 25 million bricks, four immersive Experience Zones, the Masterpiece Gallery, the MINI CHEF restaurant, and now the LEGO Masters Academy, LEGO House continues to raise the bar for LEGO fans worldwide.
The LEGO Masters Academy is open for bookings now at LEGOHouse.com, with limited sessions available each week. If you’ve ever dreamed of mastering the brick, there’s only one place to do it — Billund, Denmark.
