LEGO Icons Shopping Street Revealed – A Stunning New Modular Joins the Line-Up for 2026 Image

Few moments in the LEGO calendar generate as much excitement as the reveal of a brand-new modular building. Every January, fans gather to see how the next chapter in the beloved LEGO Icons Modular Buildings Collection will unfold. From the elegance of Parisian Restaurant, to the architectural charm of the Bookshop, to the vibrant style of the Jazz Club, each release adds fresh character and storytelling opportunities to the growing LEGO cityscape. For collectors, displaying the entire streetscape is a yearly ritual—and a highlight of the hobby.

Now, LEGO has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 modular: LEGO® Icons Shopping Street (11371), a beautifully detailed 3,456-piece build that blends historical charm with a fresh architectural layout unlike anything we’ve seen in the series before.

A Historic Shopping District Brought to Life

Shopping Street transports builders to a characterful European-inspired market district, complete with angled walls, a central alleyway, and a lively plaza—an arrangement that feels organic, layered, and full of hidden corners waiting to be explored. This non-linear footprint marks a new step for the modular line, echoing the winding passageways found in older European towns.

The set comprises two main buildings, each rich with storytelling potential:

  • A two-storey music shop, packed with marching-band instruments and charming interior details.
  • A furniture store, offering a contrast in style and texture while adding variety to the overall streetscape.

Above the retail spaces, the world expands further with a carpenter’s workshop, a fully furnished apartment, and even a roof garden complete with potted greenery and a pigeon coop. Each space feels lived-in and thoughtfully composed, allowing builders to enjoy intricate interior decoration alongside classic exterior facades.

As always, LEGO includes a colourful cast of minifigures—shopkeepers, workers, and customers—who bring the whole district to life and spark storytelling right out of the box.

A Modular With a New Perspective

Shopping Street’s design is intended to pair seamlessly with previous modulars, offering standard side connectivity but with a layout that encourages more dynamic display options. Its vertical height, layered façades, and unexpected angles provide visual interest whether placed at the centre of a city block or at the end of a street as a distinctive architectural anchor.

With 3,456 pieces and dimensions measuring over 36 cm high and 25 cm wide, it’s a substantial, display-ready build—ideal for collectors who love depth, detail, and variety in their modular lineup.
