LEGO Icons Jaguar E-Type, Hubble Space Telescope and Mayor Manor Revealed – Three Outstanding New Adult Sets Available to Pre-Order
LEGO Icons Continues to Deliver for Collectors and LEGO Investors
The LEGO Icons theme has firmly established itself as one of LEGO's premier ranges for adult builders, combining iconic vehicles, architectural masterpieces and cultural landmarks with rewarding building experiences. From the Porsche 911 and Lamborghini Countach to the Botanical Collection and Modular Buildings, Icons consistently produces display-worthy models that appeal to both dedicated LEGO collectors and long-term LEGO investors.
LEGO has now officially revealed three exciting additions arriving during August and September 2026. The elegant 11381 Jaguar E-Type celebrates one of Britain's most beautiful sports cars, 11382 Hubble Space Telescope honours one of humanity's greatest scientific achievements, while 11383 Mayor Manor introduces an intriguing brand-new subtheme known as the Midnight Valley Collection.
All three sets are available to pre-order now from LEGO.com.
LEGO Icons Jaguar E-Type (11381) – RRP $139.99 / £129.99
The first release arrives on 1 August 2026 with the stunning 1,673-piece Jaguar E-Type, recreating one of the world's most recognisable classic cars in elegant British Racing Green.
LEGO has captured many of the features that made the original automotive icon so famous. Builders can open the bonnet to reveal a detailed inline-six engine, while the doors, boot and fabric roof are all functional. Inside, the detailed cockpit features working steering, and even a five-piece toolkit stored neatly in the boot.
At 37cm long, the finished model makes an impressive display piece and sits perfectly alongside previous LEGO® Icons vehicles including the Porsche 911, Chevrolet Corvette, Land Rover Classic Defender and Lamborghini Countach.
Creating the flowing curves of the E-Type in LEGO bricks was always going to be a challenge, but the designers have introduced several new moulded elements, including bespoke wheel arches and a new windscreen, to faithfully recreate the car's unmistakable silhouette.
Long-time LEGO collectors may also appreciate the return of the rare dark tan feather plume element, previously found in only a handful of sets including Radagast the Brown and Angelica from Pirates of the Caribbean. Small details like this often delight experienced collectors and make modern replacements far easier to obtain.
Investment Thoughts
LEGO Icons vehicles have consistently attracted strong demand from adult collectors long after retirement, particularly those based on instantly recognisable automotive legends. The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most celebrated sports cars ever built, giving this set broad appeal that extends well beyond traditional LEGO fans.
At £129.99 / $139.99, it occupies the sweet spot within the Icons range—large enough to offer an impressive display model without reaching the premium pricing of flagship releases. For LEGO investors, it looks well positioned to become another desirable retired Icons vehicle.
LEGO Icons Hubble Space Telescope (11382) – RRP $139.99 / £119.99
Launching alongside the Jaguar E-Type on 1 August, the 1,066-piece Hubble Space Telescope celebrates one of the most important scientific instruments ever built.
Featuring adjustable solar panels, movable antennas and opening exterior panels revealing a detailed instrument bay complete with mirrors and gyroscopes, the model faithfully recreates the famous observatory. A display stand and astronaut minifigure complete what is designed to be a premium display piece for science and space enthusiasts alike.
The Hubble Space Telescope transformed our understanding of the universe, making this far more than simply another LEGO spacecraft. Its educational significance gives it appeal across multiple audiences, from LEGO collectors and astronomy enthusiasts to STEM fans looking for an eye-catching display model.
Investment Thoughts
LEGO's space-themed Icons releases continue to attract strong interest thanks to their crossover appeal. Unlike fictional spacecraft, real-world NASA and space exploration models resonate with collectors of science, engineering and history, helping to broaden their long-term demand.
While this set may not generate the excitement of a licensed movie theme, its subject matter should give it lasting appeal long after retirement.
LEGO Icons Mayor Manor (11383) – RRP $119.99 / £99.99
Arriving on 1 September 2026, Mayor Manor introduces something entirely new for LEGO Icons.
The 1,420-piece haunted house is officially the first entry in the brand-new Midnight Valley Collection, suggesting LEGO is planning an ongoing series of spooky, gothic-inspired buildings.
Mayor Manor features exaggerated architecture with leaning walls, weathered brickwork and an ancient tree growing through the building itself. Around the back, the manor opens to reveal an atmospheric interior complete with a fireplace, library, suit of armour, grandfather clock permanently frozen at midnight and numerous hidden details.
Three glow-in-the-dark ghostly minifigures, together with a cat and rat, complete the supernatural theme, making the finished model an ideal seasonal display for Halloween while still feeling distinctly LEGO Icons.
The announcement of Midnight Valley may prove to be the most exciting aspect of the set. If LEGO follows the successful formula established by the Winter Village Collection or Modular Buildings, future releases could expand the mysterious town with haunted hotels, abandoned stations or eerie civic buildings.
Investment Thoughts
Launching a brand-new collection often creates significant interest among LEGO collectors, particularly those who enjoy completing an entire series from the very beginning.
Should Midnight Valley become an annual release, Mayor Manor will forever remain the first set in the collection—a position that has historically benefited many inaugural LEGO releases. Combined with its accessible £99.99 / $119.99 price point, it could become one of the more interesting long-term prospects in this wave.
LEGO Icons Remains One of LEGO's Strongest Adult Themes
LEGO Icons remains one of LEGO's most reliable investment themes for both LEGO collectors and LEGO investors. 150 sets since 2012, consistent 12% AAG across automotive, architecture, space, design, and film licenses. Proven secondary market depth. These three August/September releases exemplify solid execution on a documented formula that works.
For LEGO collectors, Icons continues delivering premium adult builds with high craft satisfaction and display-worthy results. For LEGO investors, Icons represents the safest long-term positioning within LEGO's portfolio.
And Finally...
Whether you're drawn to the timeless elegance of the Jaguar E-Type, the scientific significance of the Hubble Space Telescope or the wonderfully eerie atmosphere of Mayor Manor, LEGO Icons continues to offer something for almost every adult LEGO fan. The introduction of the Midnight Valley Collection is particularly exciting, potentially laying the foundations for LEGO's next great collectible subtheme. For LEGO collectors these are three superb display models, while LEGO investors will undoubtedly be watching closely to see which of these impressive new releases ultimately becomes the standout performer in the years ahead.
