A Celebration of the LEGO Icons Theme (and Man’s Best Friend)
The LEGO Icons theme continues to be one of our absolute favourites at Investabrick. From elegant botanical builds to striking display-first models inspired by culture, nature and design, Icons sets are all about slowing down, enjoying the build, and ending with something genuinely beautiful on display. Recent Icons releases have proven that LEGO knows its adult audience incredibly well – and now, they’ve turned their attention to man’s best friend.
The LEGO® Icons Golden Retriever Puppy (11384) perfectly blends two things people truly love: LEGO and dogs. Warm, expressive and instantly recognisable, this set feels designed to make you smile every time you walk past it.
LEGO Icons Golden Retriever Puppy (11384) – Set Overview
This charming new Icons release is a 2,102-piece adult build that recreates one of the world’s most beloved dog breeds in LEGO brick form. The finished model stands at over 30cm (11.5 inches) tall, making it a substantial and eye-catching display piece for the home or office.
The puppy is fully posable, with adjustable head, ears and tail, plus a liftable front paw to create those classic “begging” or playful poses. You can even open its mouth to reveal tiny white teeth and add the included pink tongue for extra character. A colourful collar and medallion finish the model off beautifully, giving it real personality and warmth.
As with other modern Icons sets, the build experience is enhanced via the LEGO Builder app, allowing you to zoom, rotate and follow the instructions in 3D – perfect for a relaxed, mindful build session.

Why This Icons Set Feels Special
What really sets this model apart is its emotional appeal. It’s not just a technical build – it’s expressive, joyful and full of character. Whether you’re a lifelong dog lover, a Golden Retriever owner, or simply someone who enjoys display-led LEGO sets, this feels like one of those builds that delivers happiness long after the last brick is placed.
From an Icons perspective, it also fits perfectly into LEGO’s growing focus on decor-friendly models that blend seamlessly into real living spaces – something we expect to see more of in 2026 and beyond.
And Finally… A Set Meant to Be Built and Enjoyed
And finally, this is one of those sets we’d confidently say is meant to be built, not boxed away. The LEGO Icons Golden Retriever Puppy is all about the experience – taking your time, enjoying the process, and taking genuine delight in the finished model. It’s charming, calming, and full of heart, and sometimes that’s exactly what LEGO should be.
Whether it ends up as a centrepiece on a shelf or a thoughtful gift for a dog lover, this is an Icons set that feels destined to be enjoyed every single day.
