LEGO Duck Family GWP Alert – Free Set, Double Points & New LEGO Promotions

LEGO GWP Alert: FREE Duck Family Set Arrives With New Promotions, Double Points & Exciting Launches

There is something special about a brand-new LEGO Gift With Purchase. For many fans, these limited-time bonus sets are almost as exciting as the main releases themselves. GWPs have become one of the most enjoyable parts of the LEGO calendar because they add extra value and often deliver unique little builds that you simply cannot buy separately.

Over the years LEGO has released some fantastic promotional sets covering everything from seasonal builds and miniature displays to nostalgic throwbacks and collector-focused exclusives. One of the reasons they are so popular is that they appeal to almost everyone. Some fans love the display value, others enjoy adding rare items to their collections, while investors often keep a close eye on limited-run promotional sets because many become difficult to obtain after the promotion ends. Whether you are buying a large collector set or simply treating yourself to something smaller, a great GWP can make a purchase feel even more rewarding.

This latest promotion looks set to be another very popular one.

LEGO News: Free Gifts, Bonus Insiders Points and New Set Launches Available Now

Meet the FREE LEGO Duck Family (40885)

The new LEGO® Creator Duck Family (40885) arrives as a free Gift With Purchase for shoppers spending £90 / $100 or more between 22nd May and 31st May, while stocks last.

At first glance this looks like one of those charming LEGO promotional sets that could quietly become a fan favourite. The 262-piece build includes a mother duck, three ducklings and a cattail plant scene. The mother duck features a posable beak and movable legs so builders can display her standing or swimming, while one of the ducklings can even ride on her back.

The appeal here stretches beyond younger builders too. Animal-themed LEGO sets have developed a loyal following over the years, and this feels like the type of display piece that could sit perfectly on a desk, bookshelf or alongside a LEGO Botanical collection. It is cute, displayable and exclusive — exactly the type of recipe that often makes GWPs memorable.

As an added bonus, LEGO Insiders members can also enjoy 2X points from May 22nd–31st on selected sets including:

• LEGO Mario Kart™: Luigi & Mach 8 (72050)
• LEGO The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time™ – The Final Battle (77093)
• LEGO Pokémon™ Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise (72153)

That means some purchases could potentially stack bonus points and a free GWP together, which is always where LEGO promotions become particularly interesting.

Sets Worth Considering To Unlock The GWP

LEGO Mario Kart: Luigi & Mach 8 (72050)

LEGO and Nintendo continue to be a hugely successful partnership and Mario Kart remains one of the most recognisable gaming franchises ever created.

The Luigi & Mach 8 set recreates one of the iconic vehicles from the games and should appeal to both younger builders and Nintendo fans who grew up racing around Rainbow Road. Better still, this set also qualifies for 2X LEGO Insiders points, making it one of the strongest value choices during this promotional period.

LEGO Disney & Pixar Toy Story Slinky Dog Bookends (43301)

Toy Story remains one of Disney and Pixar's most loved franchises and Slinky Dog is one of its most memorable characters. This set transforms him into a fun and functional display piece, complete with moving features and hidden details.

The bookend design makes it something a little different from a traditional display model and should appeal to both collectors and Disney fans looking for something nostalgic.

LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093)

The Legend of Zelda continues to generate enormous excitement among LEGO fans and gamers alike. This display set captures one of gaming's most memorable moments and feels like the type of release that many collectors have been waiting years to see.

With 2X Insiders points available, buyers can also maximise rewards while securing the Duck Family promotion.

LEGO Jurassic World: Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler (77984)

Jurassic Park nostalgia remains incredibly strong and this collectible Jeep Wrangler model looks designed specifically for adult collectors. Complete with film references and a classic Dennis Nedry minifigure, this could prove popular with both movie fans and LEGO vehicle collectors.

The higher price point also comfortably unlocks the free Duck Family gift.

Final Thoughts

This latest LEGO promotion feels like one of those events where several offers line up nicely at the same time. The free Duck Family GWP adds charm and collectability, the double Insiders points create extra value, and there are also some interesting new launches arriving across multiple themes.

The best promotions are often the ones where you were already planning a purchase and suddenly discover you can walk away with bonus rewards too. With a cute exclusive set, extra points and some highly anticipated releases available, we would not be surprised if the Duck Family becomes one of those GWPs that disappears quickly.

For anyone thinking about making a LEGO purchase this week, it could be worth acting before the promotion waddles away.
