LEGO Architecture New York City – The Big Apple 21066 Officially Revealed
The LEGO Architecture theme has become one of the most respected and visually striking collections within the LEGO portfolio, offering builders the chance to recreate some of the world’s most recognisable landmarks and city skylines in brick-built form. Designed primarily for adults and display collectors, the range combines creative building techniques with elegant presentation pieces that look equally at home in an office, study or living room.
Over the years, LEGO Architecture has produced standout sets inspired by global destinations including Paris, London, Tokyo and Dubai, alongside larger landmark-focused releases such as the Eiffel Tower, the White House and the Statue of Liberty. The theme continues to appeal to LEGO fans, travel lovers and architecture enthusiasts alike thanks to its clean display style, relaxing building experience and instantly recognisable subject matter.
LEGO Architecture 21066 Recreates New York’s Most Famous Icons
Launching on 1st June 2026, LEGO® Architecture 21066 New York City – The Big Apple brings one of the world’s most famous skylines to life in a premium 1,465-piece display model designed for builders aged 18 and above. Priced at £129.99 in the UK and $139.99 in the US, the set captures the energy and identity of New York through a unique artistic presentation that combines architecture, skyline building and minimalist display design.
Unlike traditional skyline models, this new release uses a striking black apple-shaped backdrop and star-filled sky to frame a detailed white architectural recreation of New York City’s most famous landmarks. Builders can assemble the Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty, while also recreating cultural icons including the Guggenheim Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The set also includes Central Park, miniature yellow taxi cabs and hidden Easter egg details, helping bring the city scene to life while maintaining the sleek display-focused appearance LEGO Architecture fans have come to expect. A printed “New York, New York” nameplate completes the model, making it ideal for shelf or desk display once construction is complete.
As with many recent premium LEGO releases, the set is fully compatible with the LEGO Builder app, allowing fans to zoom, rotate and track progress using interactive 3D building instructions. The finished model measures over 29cm high, 28cm wide and 12cm deep, giving it an impressive presence without requiring excessive display space.
LEGO Architecture sets continue to attract collectors because they successfully combine travel, design and display appeal into a relaxing building experience. New York City – The Big Apple looks set to become another standout addition to the theme, especially for fans of urban skylines, American landmarks and sophisticated LEGO display pieces.
And Finally
LEGO Architecture 21066 New York City – The Big Apple looks set to be one of the most eye-catching additions to the theme in recent years. Combining iconic landmarks, stylish presentation and strong display appeal, the set captures the spirit of New York in a way that feels both modern and collectible. Whether purchased as a souvenir-inspired build, a travel-themed display piece or simply as the next addition to an Architecture collection, this is likely to be a very popular release when it launches this summer.
