Start your engines (and your stud shooters). The British Motor Show is back August 15–17 at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, and this year it comes with a very on-brand pit crew: the LEGO Group and Smyths Toys. The duo are co-hosting a special live stage all show long — think challenges, quizzes, prizes and plenty of bricks.

What’s happening on the live stage?
Expect high-energy brick action with a rotating set list:
- LEGO Big Build challenges – team up or fly solo to build against the clock.
- Sprint-for-prizes races – quick-fire tasks with the chance to win some very decent goodies.
- Tim’s Big Quiz – hop on stage, nail the rapidfire questions, and you could bag LEGO freebies.
That’s just the start. The programme also includes:
- Careers panels covering routes into the automotive world.
- Young car designers sharing how they broke into the industry.
- A Dragon’s Denstyle pitch session where companies present new products and ideas.
