LEGO 40788 Friendly Snails GWP Returns – A Charming Nature-Inspired Gift With Purchase
A delightful LEGO gift-with-purchase has returned — and this time, you’ll want to move fast to add it to your collection. The LEGO 40788 Friendly Snails GWP is available from 21–27 October 2025, or while stocks last, with online purchases of £145 or more.
Previously hard to get hold of, this serene little build has become something of a fan favourite among adult collectors. Designed with nature and animal lovers in mind, the 264-piece display model features two charming snails with decorated shells, a bee, log, puddle, rock, and lush greenery – all arranged on a sturdy baseplate perfect for display. The snails can even be detached for alternative layouts, adding flexibility for your shelf setup.
The Friendly Snails (40788) set captures LEGO’s growing trend of nature-based LEGO® GWPs, offering a gentle and relaxing building experience. Standing 7 cm high and 13 cm wide, it’s a compact yet detailed display model designed primarily for adult fans (AFOLs) who appreciate quieter, creative builds.
From the subtle detailing on each snail shell to the tiny bee hovering above the scene, it’s a joyful celebration of LEGO’s artistry — and a charming complement to other small diorama-style sets like the Flowerpot (40588) or Cherry Blossoms (40725).
US Halloween Exclusive – LEGO 40697 Halloween Pumpkin
While the UK gets the garden-themed snails, US LEGO fans can look forward to a spookier freebie — the LEGO 40697 Halloween Pumpkin. Available during the same period, this 254-piece build brings Halloween spirit to life with a clever light-up brick that illuminates the pumpkin’s face when you press the lid.
It can be built with two different expressions — a classic scary grin or a friendly smile — and includes a cute ghost hovering on a transparent stand. Measuring 8 cm high and 12 cm deep, it makes for an excellent seasonal display model, or a fun build for kids aged 8+ to enjoy in the run-up to Halloween.
