RRP £400 → Now £340 | 5,471 pieces | 10 minifigures
This 2024 LEGO Lord of the Rings release is a towering centrepiece—nearly 83cm tall—and easily one of LEGO’s most visually commanding sets. Barad-dûr includes 10 detailed minifigs like Sauron, Frodo, Sam, Gollum, and the Mouth of Sauron. With modular floors, dark stone detailing, and a light-up Eye of Sauron, it's an elite-tier display build. Like Rivendell before it, this set is poised to appreciate quickly once it retires.
LEGO Icons Rivendell (10316)
RRP £430 → Now £365 | 6,167 pieces | 15 minifigures
This sprawling and intricate recreation of Rivendell captures the elegance of Elven architecture and the spirit of The Fellowship in a way no LEGO set has before. The build is split into three large sections, with details like Frodo’s bedroom, Elrond’s study, and the iconic Council ring. Includes all 9 members of the Fellowship plus additional Elves and characters. Frequently sold this is an ideal long-term hold or prestige display piece.
LEGO Star Wars UCS TIE Interceptor (75382)
RRP £200 → Now £170 | 1,931 pieces | 1 minifigure + Mouse Droid
Released in 2024 as a LEGO Star Wars UCS remake of the 2000 classic, this sharp, angular build features fine detailing, an updated design, and a sleek black/grey colourway perfect for display. Includes a special TIE Pilot and Mouse Droid on a UCS-style plaque. A more accessible UCS set for collectors starting out, but one with all the hallmarks of value growth once production ends.
LEGO City Cargo Train (60198)
RRP £170 → Now £119 | 1,226 pieces | 6 minifigures
A LEGO train set that goes far beyond play—this Bluetooth motorised cargo train is packed with features. Includes a crane wagon, log wagon, container wagon, armoured truck, control centre, full circular track (32 rails), and a forklift. Minifigures include 4 workers, a security officer, and a crook. At this discount, it’s a fantastic value set with high display and resale appeal, especially for LEGO train enthusiasts.
LEGO Star Wars The Dark Falcon (75389)
RRP £160 → Now £109 | 1,579 pieces | 6 minifigures
A twist on the iconic Millennium Falcon, this Disney+ "Rebuild the Galaxy" version brings wild Star Wars alternate-reality energy with minifigs like Darth Jar Jar, Jedi Vader, and Beach Luke. Flip-up panels reveal a throne room, command center, bunk beds, hyperdrive, and jail cell. With rotating cannons, spring-loaded shooters, and hidden Easter eggs, this one’s likely to become a collectible curiosity—especially given its short tie-in production run.
LEGO Architecture Statue of Liberty (21042)
RRP £90 → Now £68 | 1,685 pieces | No minifigures
Standing over 44cm tall, this detailed replica of America’s most famous statue balances intricate architecture and sculpture. The flowing robe, 7-point crown, golden torch, and shielded base make this a standout piece in the Architecture series. With a compact footprint and neutral palette, it’s perfect for home or office display—and sets from this line often see post-retirement growth due to their adult-oriented appeal.
LEGO Super Mario: Mario & Yoshi (71438)
RRP £115 → Now £87 | 1,215 pieces | Interactive tag included
An adult-oriented Nintendo display set that brings retro Super Mario World to life, this brick-built diorama features pixel-style Mario riding Yoshi. A turning crank makes Yoshi “run,” and a rotating dial extends his tongue. Includes an Action Tag for interactivity if paired with LEGO Mario, Luigi or Peach (sold separately). It's one of the most charming Mario sets for display, and Nintendo collectors are already eyeing it for its nostalgia factor.
