Best LEGO Sets Retiring in 2026: Top 10 Investment Picks
Published: 49 minutes ago
Last Updated: 49 minutes ago
The clock is ticking for some of the most desirable LEGO sets of 2026. With retirement scheduled for 31 December, several major sets have already sold out at LEGO in the US, while others remain available in both markets or can still be found at attractive prices in the UK. For LEGO investors and collectors, now is the time to decide which sets you want to secure before retail stock disappears.
These are Investabrick’s recommendations, informed by our experience assessing theme and sub-theme performance, comparable retired sets, shelf life, collector appeal and other investment factors.
Anyone who missed our strong July recommendation on LEGO® Harry Potter™ 76417 Gringotts™ Wizarding Bank – Collectors’ Edition will understand the urgency. We have seen secondary-market sales at up to twice its original RRP in some places. If one of the sets below is on your investment or collecting list, do not assume you will be able to buy it at retail indefinitely.
Four retiring LEGO sets to buy in the US and UK
These four are our priority picks while they remain available on both sides of the Atlantic. Hunt for discounts where possible, but weigh any saving against the risk of missing the set entirely.
1. LEGO Icons 10335 The Endurance
With an RRP of $270 / £230, the Endurance leads our recommendations. Its detailed historic ship subject, substantial adult build and display appeal give it an audience beyond conventional LEGO collectors. The ship also offers a distinctive alternative to the vehicles and licensed franchises that dominate many retirement lists.
Observed values on secondary markets have already reached around 45% above US RRP. With retirement approaching, this is a set we would prioritise securing while it can still be bought at its normal retail price. If you find a genuine discount, all the better.

2. LEGO Icons 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System
With an RRP of $260 / £220, the NASA Artemis Space Launch System combines a recognisable real-world space programme with the appeal of a large, technical display model. Its subject matter reaches space enthusiasts as well as LEGO builders, and it makes an imposing centrepiece.
Observed values on secondary markets have been around 40% above US RRP at their highest. We consider it another compelling retirement purchase. It remains available in both markets, but we would not leave it until the final weeks of the year in the hope of a marginally better deal.

3. LEGO Ideas 21333 Vincent van Gogh – The Starry Night
With an RRP of $170 / £150, the Starry Night stands apart from the usual LEGO investment candidates. Its interpretation of one of the world’s best-known paintings gives it strong appeal to art lovers, gift buyers and adult LEGO collectors alike. That broader audience is an important part of its attraction.
Observed values on secondary markets have reached approximately 65% above US RRP, although we would not rank the set purely on that high-water mark. At its retail price, this remains one of the more interesting cross-category sets to pick up before retirement.

4. LEGO® Star Wars™ 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor™
With an RRP of $230 / £200, the UCS TIE Interceptor has a straightforward collector proposition: a classic Star Wars spacecraft, a substantial display build and a place within the established Ultimate Collector Series. For collectors building out a UCS range, retiring entries can become difficult to replace at retail.
Observed values on secondary markets have been around 30% above US RRP. It is still available in both markets, so there is an opportunity to buy before retirement without chasing resale listings. We would keep a close eye on stock rather than assume it will remain available through December.

Four UK opportunities as US stock disappears
US buyers are already seeing some major 2026 retirement candidates disappear from LEGO. UK buyers still have a window to secure the following sets, including one available at a discount on Amazon UK. These are the four we would put at the top of the UK shopping list.
5. LEGO® Star Wars™ 75367 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser
At a UK RRP of £560 (US $650), the Venator is our lead UK opportunity. As a major Star Wars UCS model, it has the scale, visual presence and collector audience that make retiring flagship sets particularly interesting. Its US LEGO listing is already sold out, making UK retail availability worth acting on.
Observed values on secondary markets have reached more than 50% above US RRP. If you want this set, finding one at or below UK RRP should be a priority rather than a purchase to put off until the last minute.
Buying opportunity: Check UK stock and retailer offers while available.

6. LEGO® Harry Potter™ 76437 The Burrow – Collectors’ Edition
At a UK RRP of £220 (US $260), the Burrow is a distinctive Harry Potter collector model, with strong appeal to fans seeking locations beyond Hogwarts. It also benefits from the established adult Harry Potter collecting audience. LEGO US is already sold out, while the set remains an opportunity for UK buyers.
Observed values on secondary markets have approached 60% above US RRP. That is a powerful reminder of how quickly interest can build when retail availability tightens. We would be looking to secure this one while UK stock remains.

7. LEGO Icons 10326 Natural History Museum
At a UK RRP of £260 (US $300), the Natural History Museum is a particularly appealing retirement candidate for modular building collectors. It is a large, highly displayable building and fits into a collecting category where completing a streetscape or series can matter to buyers.
Observed values on secondary markets have exceeded 60% above US RRP. The set is currently listed as out of stock rather than sold out in the US, so further LEGO stock may appear; UK buyers still have an opportunity to act before that uncertainty becomes a permanent shortage.
Buying opportunity: Check UK stock and retailer offers while available.

8. LEGO® Star Wars™ 75389 The Dark Falcon
At a UK RRP of £150, the Dark Falcon offers a distinctive twist on one of the most recognisable Star Wars ships. That unusual interpretation gives it a different collecting proposition from the standard Millennium Falcon releases. Stock is restricted at LEGO, but Amazon UK currently offers a useful alternative.
At £119.99, Amazon UK is approximately 20% below RRP. Combined with observed values on secondary markets approaching 50% above US RRP, this is one of the clearest examples of why it is worth checking other retailers even when LEGO itself has no stock.

Two more retiring LEGO sets worth hunting down
9. LEGO Architecture 21060 Himeji Castle
Himeji Castle is a striking Architecture display model with an audience among LEGO collectors, architecture enthusiasts and travellers. Observed values on secondary markets have reached around 35% above US RRP on our adjusted assessment. At £110 on Amazon UK, against its £140 UK RRP, the immediate attraction is clear: a £30 saving (around 20%) on a substantial retirement candidate.
10. LEGO® Star Wars™ 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon
At £575 on Amazon UK against its £735 RRP, the UCS Millennium Falcon offers a £160 saving (around 20%). Few LEGO sets have the recognition of the UCS Millennium Falcon. With its long retail life approaching an end, this is a major opportunity for collectors who have wanted the flagship Star Wars model but resisted the full £735 UK RRP. Observed values on secondary markets have reached around 30% above US RRP. This is a particularly notable purchase before retirement. Check the live listing and stock carefully.
Bonus pick: LEGO Ideas 21351 Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas
With a UK RRP of £170 (US $200), the Nightmare Before Christmas appeals to a loyal film and character-collecting audience, making it a distinctive alternative to the larger vehicle and building sets on this list. LEGO US is already sold out, but UK availability offers another opportunity to secure it at retail. Observed values on secondary markets have been around 30% above US RRP.
Buy before the retirement rush — and watch Black Friday carefully
The best outcome is to secure a desirable set at a discount before it disappears from retail. The Amazon UK prices on the Dark Falcon, Himeji Castle and UCS Millennium Falcon show that worthwhile savings can still be found even as retirement approaches. Look across LEGO, Amazon and other reputable retailers, and use the buying links alongside our recommendations to check current offers.
Keep an eye on Investabrick for our Black Friday LEGO deals coverage, but do not make a discount your only condition for buying. Several sets on this list have already sold out in the US. On LEGO’s website, “Out of Stock” or “Temporarily Out of Stock” can leave room for a restock; “Sold Out” generally means no further stock is expected. Availability can change quickly, and waiting too long may leave secondary-market prices as the only option.
Gringotts was a timely reminder of what can happen after a strong collector set becomes hard to obtain. Our recommendation is simple: identify the retiring sets you want, hunt for the best legitimate price now, and add them to your collection while you still can.
Editorial note: Prices, stock indications and observed secondary-market premiums reflect information supplied for this article and may change. The 31 December 2026 dates are the stated expected retirement dates, not a guarantee of stock through year-end.
