Discover How the LEGO Nike Dunk (43008) Collaboration Is Shaking Up LEGO News and Investment Image

Why the LEGO Nike Dunk Set Is Poised to Become a Prime LEGO Investment Opportunity

In one of the boldest and most culture-driven collaborations in recent memory, LEGO is lacing up with Nike for a release that blends streetwear cool with block-built creativity. The LEGO® Nike Dunk (43008) takes a legendary silhouette and reimagines it as a brick-built collectible with bold visual appeal—and some clever hidden features. Set to attract attention far beyond sneakerheads, this set may just become one of the most sought-after lifestyle-themed LEGO drops of the year.

Set Details

The LEGO Nike Dunk (43008) contains 1,180 pieces and carries an RRP of £89.99 / $99.99 / €99.99. Aesthetically, it’s a faithful brick recreation of the iconic high-top trainer first introduced in 1985. The build includes not just the sneaker itself, but a matching basketball model, a slogan tile, and an exclusive “B’Ball Head” minifigure decked out in LEGO-sized Nike apparel and miniature Dunks. Hidden compartments within the shoe offer secret storage for accessories like rings, while extra laces allow for customizable display configurations. At over 38cm wide, it makes an eye-catching centrepiece on any sneaker collector’s shelf—or LEGO investor’s portfolio.

Theme Analysis

Whilst there isn’t an exact theme to look at here there is an obvious collaboration set from that we can take a look at to try and garner how well LEGO sets like this will perform. LEGO Adidas Originals Superstar (10282) albeit this is a tricky set to judge from a LEGO investment perspective as there were 2 different versions released. LEGO 10282-1 the mainstream version has seen its price consistent with its RRP since retiring, whilst the limited edition version 10282-2 is now worth almost 6 times as much as its $80 RRP.

This implies that theme itself wasn’t responsible for being a successful LEGO investment, rather the scarcity of the limited edition version.
