At Investabrick, as dedicated LEGO Insiders, there’s nothing we enjoy more in the fall than diving into new LEGO releases and growing our collection. With October in full swing, we’re especially excited for the upcoming announcements of LEGO Gifts with Purchase (LEGO GWP). These exclusive LEGO offers are not just fun additions; they can really elevate our investment portfolios with unique and detailed sets or minifigures you won’t find anywhere else. A LEGO free gift adds an extra layer of excitement to every purchase, making the building experience even more enjoyable. As we embrace the fall vibes, LEGO enthusiasts can look forward to a brand-new GWP that’s sure to spark creativity and fun this season. We take a look at the new Books Are My Passion (40698) GWP set, which is from LEGO Ideas, that is currently up for grabs below:
Last year, LEGO Ideas held a Singles' Day building competition called "Me, Myself, I," where Fr_An took home the top prize with her creation, "Reading, Reading, Reading." Her design has now been transformed into the set 40698 Books Are My Passion, which will be available as a gift with purchase on LEGO.com from October 28th to November 11th.
The LEGO® Books Are My Passion (40698) set, is a delightful creation for book lovers and aspiring writers alike. This 285-piece set allows fans to construct a cozy bookshelf complete with an integrated desk, a decorative ladder, and a vibrant array of books that add a splash of colour to any space. The scene is further enhanced by a comfortable armchair, a teacup, and a minifigure that captures the essence of a tranquil reading nook. Measuring over 12 cm high, 9 cm wide, and 9 cm deep, this set not only serves as an engaging building experience but also transforms into a beautiful piece of desk decor, making it a perfect gift for anyone who cherishes the written word. Additional thoughtful details, such as a globe and an ink jar, complete this charming tribute to literature and creativity.
To qualify for the GWP, customers need to spend over $130 / €130 / £120.
