Theme Analysis
The Brickheadz theme is a strong on, showing annualised growth of 18% and one we like to invest in. Some very strong sets across the board, including LEGO Brickheadz Harry Potter & Hedwig (41615) which has more than doubled in value since retiring at the end of 2018 (31% annualised growth) and LEGO Brickheadz Captain America (41589) which has more than tripled in value since retiring at the end of 2017 (30% annualised growth).
| Set Number | Set Name | Retired Date | RRP | Current Value | Total Growth | Annualised Growth |
| 41589 | Captain America | 31/12/2017 | $10 | $49 | 390% | 27% |
| 41615 | Harry Potter & Hedwig | 31/12/2018 | $15 | $65 | 333% | 29% |
| 41627 | Luke Skywalker & Yoda | 31/12/2018 | $15 | $76 | 407% | 33% |
| 75232 | Kylo Ren & Sith Trooper | 31/07/2020 | $20 | $46 | 130% | 22% |
Comparable Set Analysis
Our concern here came from knowing we don’t usually see Disney as an investment theme, but the sub-theme within Brickheadz actually outperforms the theme returning an astonishing 35% annualised growth across the 13 retired sets.
The pick of these sets are LEGO Brickheadz Mickey Mouse (41624) and LEGO Brickheadz Jack Skellington and Sally (from the Nightmare Before Christmas) which have both delivered annualised returns in excess of 40% since retiring!
| Set Number | Set Name | Retired Date | RRP | Current Value | Total Growth | Annualised Growth |
| 41613 | Mr. Incredible & Frozone | 31/12/2018 | $20 | $37 | 85% | 11% |
| 41623 | Ariel & Ursula | 31/12/2018 | $20 | $108 | 440% | 34% |
| 41624 | Mickey Mouse | 31/12/2018 | $10 | $66 | 560% | 39% |
| 41630 | Jack Skellington & Sally | 31/12/2018 | $20 | $95 | 375% | 31% |
Conclusion
Another cracking Brickheadz set, a strong theme and an even stronger sub-theme. Add these to your collection at LEGO now!
